Island Happenings

Alot of fun things are happening on the island...one funny thing , Connie went to Macys for her hair coloring monday..got a really great lady that fixed her up..however last year a guy did her hair (Steve) and it took him 4 hours and he was actually reading a hair manual as he worked on her......she asked her stylist how ole Steve was doing...seems he is back working at HOME DEPOT.......

REMEMBER A BAD BEACH DAY IS BETTER THAN GOOD DAY ANYWHERE ELSE..ALOHA

Mothers Day Hawaiian Style

Connie had a wonderful Hawaiian Mothers Day. Our friends Jim and Ann, Grant & Teena, Paul and Micky planned a wonderful "Brunch".. Jim and Grant are "Master Chefs" and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The minosa's and bloody marys were flowing as well. The boys both called and sent cards and Connie had a wonderful day..... A great place to be on Mothers Day..beautiful Honolulu.

Nashville

It is so wonderful to see the Pacific ocean and feel those trade winds again! It is hard to believe we spent 6 months at home and are back. We can't help but cry about what is happening in Nashville! Our hugs go out to our family and friends back there. My brother in Adairville, Ky had to be evacuated from his house and my sister's rental property is under water. It's just the most terrible thing. All this happened the week we left to fly to Phoenix. Chad and Maria have been looking after things for us and found a tree on our house! It crashed after the ground gave way and the roots gave way. It extended all the way across the house from the back but fortunately didn't break through the ridge on the roof. It could have been so much worse. My brother, Pete, who is an angel from heaven and has been all my life, is out working on it for us. This is his week to move into his new house too! Forgive us Jeanni for taking him away from that. All of us sisters basically wear the man out with our needs, but he is always unfailing.

WE SPEND 10 DAYS IN SUNNY PHOENIX WITH RUSH AND SHENNU....HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. TOMORROW WE FLY ON TO HONOLULU. OUR FRIENDS WILL PICK US UP AND WE ARE DINING WITH OUR HAWAII FRIENDS TOMORROW NIGHT.....IT IS GREAT TO GET BACK TO THE SUN, SURF, JEEP, AND CONDO VIEW OF DIAMOND HEAD.......A FEW PHOTOS FROM PHOENIX AS WE EXIT.
