Julie and I were on hand to welcome the emperor and empress of Japan as they visited Honolulu. As they were being honored in a nearby hotel, we invited ourselves as representatives from the south. I joined him in the processional with my beach towel, and Julie hung loose at the dinner in her designer tank top! Please see photo! Ray was unable to attend because he wouldn't shave or cross the barriers and red rope.....
